In early February, I visited Zara’s 2017 S/S collection preview at the
Zara showroom in Sinsadong,Seoul. Although the weather in the morning and night is
still winter, the sunshine during the day is enough to make us
feel spring.
It is the time of year when we are looking forward to the new
season. I could feel the fresh spring vibes at Zara’s preview. Bright and
vibrant spring colors that make your eyes rejoice along with newly updated
silhouettes, fabrics, and prints, I was able to meet the strongest new trends
of the upcoming season, spring. Now I shall reveal what Zara suggests as the
2017 spring trend!
Since my posting is a bit late, the spring items revealed in this posting
is already on sale in Zara shops.
Bright yellow that calls for spring tickles our eyes. The color palette
that goes from white, yellow, pink, to coral orange make us wonder whether we
have to go on our spring picnic right away. Simply looking at them makes my
heart flutter.
Something we should not miss along with the colors is a frill! Small and
large frills are used as the main design to create a voluminous silhouette that
is feminine and lovely. Ah the moment of happiness as a woman! I should
definitely prepare some romantic frill looks this spring.
Since I am very into Vetements, the 90s vibe street casual caught Rekay’s
eyes more than the usual sprig mood. With black as the main color, washed
t-shirts and destroyed denim along with fringe detail creates a wild rock and
roll girl crush feel throughout the whole collection. The fringes, metal islet,
and vivid colors that contrast with black create an edgy casual look.
Pink, pink, pink!
This spring, pink is still back as the strong season color. Zara’s spring
pink is a lovely strawberry milk kind of pure pink! Throw away the coral and
dusty pink but this is the kind of pink that is created with the addition of a
bit of white in hot pink minus the yellow!
In addition, these are floral patterns. Need I say more? Zara’s floral
skirt that was updated with large flower patterns and maxi length, it is more
casual than romantic. Coordinate with a casual crop sweatshirt and sneakers. It
is a beautiful spring daily look simply thinking of it.
As a fashion blogger and a woman living in this era, a closet without Zara
is unimaginable. Zara has become a very familiar brand in our daily lives.
Their styling and concept seems to have taken a pretty stable place that does
not overlook any luxury designer brands. The trendy and varied design elements
along with the great quality are all being updated greatly. But the price
should stop being increased.
Blue and white cannot be missed in spring. The touch of the crisp cotton
fabric makes us feel the light spring. From the classic pin stripe to the cooler
bold stripes. It is the perfect combination of blue and white. Rather than the
basic shirt line, it has become more feminine with ruffles or voluminous wide
sleeves.
