On December 8th, I headed to the 2016 Cosmo Beauty Awards
that was hosted at Cheongdamdong SMT Seoul. Through more than 10,000 beauty
surveys, it was a total set up of the season’s best top selling beauty items from
Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Japan’s Cosmopolitan.
It was like the festival of
best beauty! Although Rekay does not know much about anything
other than Fashion, Rekay was able to learn about the line of beauty
specialists through this Cosmo Beauty Awards. I shall introduce the fabulous
situation of the awards. Of course, I have high hopes to be anti-aging in year
2017 to become more beautiful! 
After being rewarded at the Cosmo Blog Awards, Rekay is working as a member of Cosmopolitan’s friends. In this event, I was invited as the VIP influencer to
enjoy a more special awards ceremony. It was fancy catering service provided at the
private room in the fourth floor of SMT Seoul. The modern and chic design of
SMT Seoul was very memorable. The finger food and drinks were also perfect for
the festive atmosphere of the night.
I put together a simply daily look with a black midi dress like a slip
layered with a cream silk blouse. It has a simple and modern feeling. As it is
an event, I tried to add a bit of fanciness with Zara’s beading choker and
Stella McCartney’s hot pink becks chain bag. I always recommend using a small
but potent accessory or vivid color point to dress up without too much pressure
for end of the year parties or dinners. Go to work without any of them and put
them on as you leave work.
This 2016 Cosmo Beauty Awards was not simply exhibiting winner products
like a beauty café platform but was rather a café style where you could
experience and share at the spot. It helped people become closer and enjoy the
products at an intimate level. Brands Loccitane, Luna, and Hoegarden joined in
the form of pop-up stores that made the festival more abundant.
Loccitane, the brand famous for their moisturizing creams, cosmetic brand
Luna’s best concealer, especially the long lasting tip concealer could be
tested right at the spot. The finalizing point is the sweet raspberry aroma of
Hoegarden’s fruit beer. Top it all off with Hoegarden Rose! With contents that
make you more beautiful and happy, it was a great time to enjoy, look around
and test, and take photos.
An item I would like to introduce in today’s daily look! It is these ankleboots that I got through direct overseas purchase from Revolve. It is a new
ankle boots design that has been newly updated this season. The slim ankle
design and chunky heel is very trendy and stylish. It is a brand called
SEYCHELLES. I bought it for the first time from Revolve but the quality of the
leather is great. The fitting is stable and it is great in every way. It is my
most loved ankle boots. I only wear these nowadays.
With the simple design and adequate length, it would probably go well with
boots cut denim that comes only to the ankle. It is a model that is likely to
go well even with maxi knit dresses or short mini dresses. The front toe line
and heel is a tough leather material. The ankle part is a complex material that
is thinner. It can be worn easily without the zipper and it is styled as a
naturally thin ankle line. People who would like to get ankle boots, check this
